APLIKASI PENYEWAAN MOBIL BERBASIS WEBSITE (Studi Kasus pada Rental Mobil Lotus Purworejo)
Abstract
Abstrak - Penyedia layanan transportasi yang menawarkan jasa penyewaan mobil saat ini banyak dijumpai di kota-kota besar. Rental mobil Lotus merupakan penyedia layanan penyewaan mobil yang berada di kota Purworejo. Saat ini dalam proses penyewaan yang ada di rental tersebut masih menggunakan cara manual. Selain masih manual dalam proses penyewaan apabila ketersedian mobil habis, peminjam mencari mobil ke tempat rental lain atau rental mobil Lotus akan menghubungi satu-persatu rental mobil yang berkerjasama untuk menanyakan ketersediaan mobil. Saat ini belum ada sistem informasi peminjaman yang memantau ketersediaan mobil. Metode pengembangan software yang digunakan adalah RAD (Rapid Application Development). Dengan mengimplementasikan program aplikasi penyewaan mobil berbasis website ini diharapkan kasir dan pemilik usaha dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada. Sehingga dapat memudahkan dan membantu peminjam dalam mencari mobil sehingga proses penyewaan mobil menjadi cepat, efektif dan efisien.

Abstract - Transportation service providers that offer car rental services are now often found in big cities. Lotus car rental is a car rental service provider in the city of Purworejo. Currently in the rental process that is in the rental is still using the manual method. Besides still being manual in the rental process if the availability of the car runs out, the borrower looks for a car to another rental place or Lotus car rental will contact one by one car rental in collaboration to ask about the availability of the car. At present there is no loan information system that monitors car availability. The software development method used is RAD (Rapid Application Development). By implementing this website-based car rental application program, it is expected that cashiers and business owners can solve existing problems. So that it can facilitate and assist borrowers in finding a car so that the car rental process becomes fast, effective and efficient.
