Author Guidelines

Wanastra: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra accepts manuscript submissions through OJS (Open Journal Systems). Furthermore, the results of the editors' and Bestari Partners' manuscript review (revisions, acceptance, or rejection) will be informed via email, and the corrections are required to be resubmitted to Wanastra: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra.

Guidelines for Authors / Online Manuscript Submission or as a Journal Reader:
1. Visitors must have a "user name" by clicking "register" and creating a password before accessing the Wanastra: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra website and filling out the profile. You should 'Register' first before submitting the manuscript if you are an author. Are you already registered? Go to the login stage and begin the five-step script entry procedure.

2. Starting a New Manuscript Submission: Click Here to start the five-step submission process. (1) Start; (2) Upload Manuscripts; (3) Enter Metadata (4) Upload Additional Files; (5) Confirm

3. "Login" is required for 'Readers' who want a complete manuscript and download in PDF or writers who wish to submit a manuscript and check the status of the submitted manuscript until it is published, while information on the manuscript reviewed will be notified via email.

4. If you only want to search or view the journal's contents, both names and manuscripts that Jurnal Pariwisata has published, please select the 'LOOK' menu.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors who publish in Wanastra: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra agree to the following terms:

a. Copyright Retention and Licensing
Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
This license allows others to copy, distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the work—even for commercial purposes—as long as proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and any derivative works are distributed under the same license.

b. Non-Exclusive Distribution
Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the article (e.g., posting it in an institutional repository, sharing it on a personal website, or republishing it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in Wanastra: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra.

c. Online Sharing and Preprint Policy
Authors are encouraged to post their manuscripts online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on personal websites) before and during submission. This can foster productive academic exchange and lead to earlier and increased citations of the published work (see: Open Access Effect).

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

 

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Publication: 500000.00 (IDR)

The publication fee is for National Authors, but 0 (USD) or free for International Authors.

Starting February 1, 2025, Wanastra: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra required authors to pay the article processing charges for all articles accepted for publication.  After the article is accepted, the authors will receive an email from the Editor with the bank account number and payment instructions. Authors must pay the article processing charge as part of the publication process and the payment through bank transfer. Â
