Sentuhan Kreativitas Dan Inovasi Wisata Kuliner Bahari Berkelanjutan

Artikel ini merupakan hasil dari riset partisipatif yang dilakukan pada aquaculture berupa Karamba Jaring Apung (KJA) di Kabupaten Situbondo, Jawa Timur. Tujuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan kemampuan sejumlah kelompok nelayan KJA yang mampu bertahan menghadapi keterbatasan modal guna pengelolaan aquaculture, juga keterbatasan daya dukung seperti bibit ikan, pakan, dan pasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik obsevasi partisipan. Data dan informasi dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan para pelaku yakni para nelayan pengelola KJA dan para konsumen. Focus penelitian adalah mengungkap munculnya ide kreatif dan inovatif sehingga dapat mengatasi keterbatasan yang dihadapi. Hasil kajian menemukan bahwa sejumlah pengelola KJA yang mampu bertahan karena mereka mengembangkan diversifikasi usaha. Mereka hadir sebagai innovator yang kreatif, mengembangkan potensi bahari dan tidak sekadar menangkap ikan, tetapi mengkombinasikan pula dengan wisata kuliner di atas KJA. Destinasi wisata ini ramah lingkungan dengan menjadikan ikan hasil budidaya sebagai bahan bakunya. Kreativitas dan inovasi menjadi kata kunci dalam menciptakan destinasi wisata ini, sehingga mampu mengubah hal yang biasa saja menjadi luar biasa. Berdasarkan hasil kajian disimpulkan bahwa wisata kuliner bahari sangat potensial untuk dapat dikembangkan sebagai destinasi wisata. Untuk itu, artikel ini menawarkan pentingnya sentuhan kreativitas dan inovasi pada destinasi wisata bahari berkelanjutan. Keberadaan destinasi wisata kuliner bahari ini sekaligus menjadi bagian dari upaya pemulihan lingkungan ekologis laut.
