Abstrak
SMA Minhajuth Thullab merupakan salah satu Sekolah yang berada di way jepara lampung timur. Pada SMA Minhajuth Thullab penulis melakukan analisa dan riset mengenai sistem informasi akademik yang sedang berjalan saat ini. Sistem informasi yang hanya diterapkan di SMA Minhajuth Thullab ternyata masih kurang mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Terlambatnya informasi dan kurangnya informasi yang menyebabkan para siswa tidak efisien dalam sistem kegiatan belajar mengajar. Sebagai contoh jika seorang siswa ingin melihat nilai maka dia harus datang ke sekolah dan ini sangat membutuhkan materi dan waktu yang tidak sedikit. Bahkan Sekolah ini masih belum terlalu dikenal oleh masyarakat karena kurangnya informasi. Sekolah ini sangat ingin memperkenalkan diri sebagai salah satu Sekolah Boarding School terbaik dan dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Untuk mengatasi masalah seperti itu, maka penulis bermaksud untuk mencoba menangani proses Informasi dengan merancang suatu sistem informasi akademik berbasis web yang menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL.

Abstract
SMA Minhajuth Thullab is one way schools are located in Jepara eastern Lampung . At the high school Minhajuth Thullab authors performed an analysis and research on academic information systems that are running at the moment. Information system that only applied in SMA Minhajuth Thullab are still not getting the maximum results . Delayed information and lack of information that led to the students in the system inefficient teaching and learning activities . For example if a student wants to see the value he has to come to the school and in desperate need of material and substantial time . Even the school is still not very well known by the public because of lack of information . This school really would like to introduce ourselves as one of the best School Boarding Schools and recognized by the public . To overcome such problems , the authors intend to try to deal with the process of designing an information system is a web-based academic information using PHP and MySQL.
