PENGARUH KOMPETENSI DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU (STUDI KASUS SMP BINA KUSUMA JAKARTA)

This study aims to find answers and explain the influence of competence and motivation of teachers' performance, analyze the variables that most influence on teacher performance, and analyze the relationship between the dimensions of competence and motivation variables on the dimensions of teacher performance variables in SMP Bina Kusuma Jakarta. The population of this research a number of teachers at the SMP Bina Kusuma Jakarta as many as 30 people who all serve as a sample saturated. There are two independent variables and one dependent variable. Competence and motivation as independent variables and teacher performance as the dependent variable. To test the influence variables, researchers used multiple linear regression method, the T test and F test with SPSS version 19. According to the results obtained, show that the influence of independent variables entered into the regression model, competence and motivation variables significantly influence the dependent variable (performance). This can be seen from the test results obtained T Test t value for the variable of competence and motivation of 3.830 and 7.546 greater than t table (1.7011). The probability of significance for Competence and Motivation of 0.028 and 0.009 (below 0.05). From this it can be concluded that the dependent variable (performance) are influenced by independent variables (competency and motivation). An important finding of this study is the performance of junior high school teacher Bina Kusuma in Jakarta, is influenced by the competence and motivation is very high that the two variables need to be increased to maintain the continuity of SMP Bina Kusuma Jakarta.
