Abstract


Abstract — Concentration of kindergarten children were very
minimal compared to adults make teachers need to be extra in the
delivery of material in the learning process because kids get bored
easily with the media book. Many types and concepts that must be
absorbed and used the learning process is still classically causes
less understanding children and teachers must often repeat the
learning materials. Teaching with lecture method and the lack of
props make children less interested in learning. The method used to
convey information one through multimedia-based learning
android with needs analysis, system design, code generation,
testing, support. The purpose of this learning system is to help
children learn animal diversity typical kindergarten on an island in
Indonesia. Fill delivered a simple material. There are also quiz
exercises to test children's understanding about this matter and
also the game to provide entertainment in the study. In addition
android multimedia-based learning can also help teachers deliver
material with the introduction of the animals easier. Studying the
animals unique to the island in Indonesia needs to be ways or
strategies that can facilitate children in learning. To attract
attention, is necessary to create classroom situation makes the
children motivated to learn. One way is to use teaching aids or
media when teachers teach. Rapid advances in technology,
especially information technology encourages people to develop
media that can be used anytime and anywhere.
